A backend chat API for answering questions about WNBA news using a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) approach. Users submit natural-language questions and receive answers grounded in a curated dataset of WNBA news articles.

An end-to-end NBA analytics platform in Microsoft Fabric using a Medallion Architecture. Raw NBA game, team, player, and statistics data stored as parquet files will be ingested into a Lakehouse Bronze layer, transformed and standardized in a Silver layer, and modeled into a Gold layer using a star schema optimized for analytics.

This project creates a real time data streaming pipeline that ingests MovieLens dataset events from Kafka topics into Delta Lake tables using Apache Spark Structured Streaming on Databricks. There is an optimization notebook that performs a couple experiments with data optimization on spark and created a separate analytics notebook for exploratory data analysis.

Ampath Web Service is a web tool used by network engineers to figure network outages. I was part of the backend group for this project. My contribution included expanding the backend to include new database relationships and expanding admin filtering options. I also assisted the frontend team with migrating backend features to the frontend. Even though it was part of a class I treated it like an summer internship and I'm proud of my team's contribution.

A single page react application that shows all hip hop albums that have ever been released (according to Wikipedia). I got the data from web scaping Wikipedia for every hip hop album released in a particular year. For example, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1998_in_hip_hop_music shows all hip hop albums released in 1998. After web scraping the data I created an API with the Django REST framework to serve my data to my React frontend.
